Professor Dorian Lapaj is a pioneer. In 2003, he founded the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Albania — right here in Saranda. What began as a passionate mission has grown into a nationally recognized academy and a thriving community.
Certified in England by world champion Prof. Victor Estima of Gracie Barra, and recognized by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), Prof. Lapaj brings world-class technique to the Albanian coast.
His background spans military service as an Officer of the Albanian Marines, years competing in Muay-Thai, MMA, and BJJ across Europe, and a lifetime dedicated to the gentle art.
